Changes to this statement

We will occasionally update our confidentiality statement and you are encouraged to periodically review it to keep informed about how we are protecting your information.

Use of your information

We share the data you provide with selected insurance providers and Feefo, a customer satisfaction research company. We also use your information to help perform statistical analysis of our site, to communicate with you, or arrange for delivery of products or services. By submitting a quotation request form, you consent to your data being shared with our insurance providers. If you prefer, you can opt out of our customer research and we'll ask you separately if you'd like to do this.

These businesses will not use your personal information except to provide services via us and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

  1. conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on us;
  2. protect and defend our rights or property;
  3. protect the personal safety of our users or the public.

We keep track of visits to our web pages in order to assess how our services are being used and to help us improve them.

Three more are managed by ourselves which expire when you close your web browser.

A cookie is a text file that is offered by a web server, if accepted by your browser, the five Google Analytics cookies and three AdInsight cookies will store on your hard drive, while the three cookies managed by ourselves will reside in memory. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

We consider each cookie essential to our website's performance. Here we chart their identity, individual purpose and categorisation according to The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) UK’s cookie guide:

Due to our cookies falling into only "strictly necessary" and "performance" cookies, we deem this content sufficient in complying with UK law requiring website operators to ask for permission when placing cookies on visitors' devices – as per The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) UK's cookie guide.
